Jason Howden - Warren and Mahoney

Talk topic: The future of digital with a focus on digital twins and how they can add value and reduce carbon during the operational lifetime of a facility.

Over his 20 year career, Jason has led teams on large-scale, complex projects in the United Kingdom, Australia and throughout New Zealand. He has a depth knowledge and experience in delivering aviation, healthcare, research, corrections, educational, commercial and residential projects.

With a passion for design and technology, Jason has significant experience in 3D to 5D Building Information Modelling (BIM) and has led BIM teams in providing ground breaking innovation on many large-scale projects throughout New Zealand and internationally. These include projects such as the Christchurch Justice and Emergency Services Precinct, the Spark Towers in Wellington, the new Terminal 3 (International) at Jakarta Airport and the Centre for Obesity, Diabetes and Cardiovascular Disease for Sydney University.

Jason’s passion and strengths are in design technology adoption, BIM implementation and digital workflows providing projects teams with the expert understanding and knowledge to maximise the use of technology for a successful and efficient project outcome.

Jason was appointed Principal in 2021.

Talk topic: The use of Technology and Analytics to build a high performance team.

Jake is a skilled Technician, and BIM Manager for Warren and Mahoney's Wellington Studio.

Jake has brought new innovations to the practice, and continued to modernise the way we use software, leading the implementation of BIM within the Wellington studio. He is highly team driven and has managed teams on multiple large projects.

Prior to joining Warren and Mahoney, Jake worked primarily in the education and contemporary Maori sectors, focusing on Te Kohanga Reo, Te Kura Kaupapa Maori Immersion Schools, College and University Developments, Jake has gained valuable experience with reflecting the cultural identity of both small communities and large organisations.

Jake was appointed Associate in 2019.
