Bryan Winters

Humnlab+ Architecture

BIO:

In 2005, Mr. Winters started humnlab+ architecture / under the impression that evoking the human spirit through architecture awakens the child in all of us. His current work has been both acclaimed and published, both nationally and internationally, for its use of sustainable design, as well as his use of the the five principles of architecture, his practice performs. Having more than a decade of design + build experience, provides Mr. Winters with the depth and knowledge needed to be a well rounded professional.

Mr. Winters has been in and around architecture his whole life, from lincoln logs, to the present. He received his undergraduate degree in architecture from the University of Arizona, while being a member of both division 1 NCAA track, + cross country teams. He then went on to the prestigious Los Angeles founded school of architecture SCI_Arc, (Southern California Institute of Architecture) where he studied under the likes of Michael Rotondi, Eric Owen Moss, Coy Howard, and Ray Kappe, and received his dual masters degree, in history and philosophy, with distinction.

While attending SCI_Arc, Mr. Winters had the invaluable opportunity to intern then become employed with Thom Mayne of morphosis architects, the 2005 Pritsker Prize Award winning architect. While at morphosis, Mr. Winters soon became a key team member of the San Francisco Federal Building, which has won numerous local and national awards for both its aesthetic design, as well as it cutting edge modern technology under the genre of sustainability.

While attending SCI_Arc, Mr. Winters had the invaluable opportunity to intern then become employed with Thom Mayne of morphosis architects, the 2005 Pritsker Prize Award winning architect. While at morphosis, Mr. Winters soon became a key team member of the San Francisco Federal Building, which has won numerous local and national awards for both its aesthetic design, as well as it cutting edge modern technology under the genre of sustainability.

With over 15 years of experience, in the design + build paradigm, Mr. Winters provides leadership and mentorship in the Architecture and academic community. The following memberships and accolades, allows Mr. Winters to be physically involved and immersed in the Los Angeles, architectural society.

TOPIC: What is the most important?

As Architects/designers, this has become a fundamental question. On what are we using our talent, expertise, and practice? For me, the answer has become pretty obvious, and for over 20 years, we have been working on trying to focus our attention on responding to this change of paradigm.

BIO: As director of his own organisation, Paul has been involved in all phases of architectural and object production, from elaborating work proposals and contacting new clients, to all Design Phases and Construction Coordination, Administration, and construction site supervision. He is an active member of the architectural Mexican community and recognized architect among multiple National and International design and architecture media publications. Work recognition on social media includes Instagram, Facebook, and a linked-in presence.

Paul Cremoux studio work has been exhibited at Mexico’s City Museum of Modern Art, (MAM), The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), London UK. Mexico’s City Public spaces and galleries. Winners and Finalists in several international contests like Best 30 Houses of the World at (WAN) World Architectural News, Best of Design at Houzz platform CA. USA. and Second Won Place for the Guadalajara Library International Contest. We are holders of several grants and scholarships like the CONACYT (The National Council of Science and Technology) and FONCA (The National Fund for Culture and Arts) among others, We impart academic courses at the UNAM (National Autonomous University of Mexico), IBERO (Universidad Iberoamericana) Anahuac University, and ITESM (The Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education). Media recognition includes work published at diverse design national and international magazines, TV show interviews, Books, Newspapers, and a variety of design architectural web blogs
