They will take audiences on a fast-paced journey through the cultural influences and creative inspirations that have shaped their work, revealing how these experiences helped forge an alternative path to traditional architectural practice. The presentation will also examine how personal passions and cross-disciplinary interests can be translated into spatial experiences through temporary installations, interventions, and event-based design.

Speaker BIOs: Simon Keeling co-founded In Situ Architects with Seb Benson in 2015. Alongside the practice, he spent eight years at Proctor and Matthews, working across award-winning residential and community projects. His experience spans residential architecture, temporary installations, and event design, with a focus on technical fabrication and delivery.
Seb Benson co-founded In Situ Architects with Simon Keeling in 2015. He previously worked at Populous Architects on projects for the Paris 2024 Olympics, specialising in sports venue architecture and event overlay. Seb leads the studio’s creative direction, focusing on process, experimentation, and design expression.
