Talk topic: Creating comfort in new H1 compliant buildings

The theme will be that due to new regulations the key drivers for comfort is going to be transitioning away from heating and towards cooling and ventilation. Once the loads are determined then there are a number of technologies which can be used to over come the loads and ensure indoor comfort, the final section of the presentation will introduce them as concepts and highlight the relative strength and weakness of each.

Three learning examples:

  1. The necessity of estimating heating, cooling and ventilation loads
  2. The information required to estimate loads and the biggest factors which influence the calculations
  3. The technologies available to overcome the heating, cooling and ventilation loads.
