From the façade and visual identity through to wayfinding, accessibility and secure entry, this session looks beyond individual products to consider how these elements can be better integrated into the architectural design process.
Matt Williamson, Co-founder and Creative Director at Findable, will explore wayfinding as a design discipline, including New Zealand compliance requirements and how early consideration of signage and navigation can create more intuitive, inclusive and effective environments.
The programme continues with Resene Construction Systems, examining key façade and building-envelope specification considerations, before moving from exterior to entry with ASSA ABLOY. Ethan King, Business Development Manager — Digital Access Solutions, and Gregory Scott, Architectural Consultant, will explore how high-security keying, digital credentials and integrated access solutions can be considered during design rather than added later.
Together, the three sessions provide architects and designers with practical specification knowledge to help create buildings that communicate clearly, perform effectively and deliver safer, more seamless experiences from façade to entry.
