From large masterplans to refined private villas, his macro to micro experience has led him to become a well-balanced designer with an eye for context, culture, and climate. Awarded the prestigious AIA Henry Adams award advanced him to later winning international awards including the 2019 Middle East Consultant’s Rising Star of the Year, 2019 Design Middle East Young Talent RU, a finalist for Middle East Young Architect 2019, and the World Architecture Festival award.
LEED Accredited, he is committed to a brighter future, advocating sustainable design strategies and cradle-to-cradle thinking for long term impacts on the built environment. Gilbert aims for timeless design that is responsive, adaptive, and enriches the context. With his international experience, he focuses a delicate response to each site carefully and creates a developed design with sensible approach.
