- Ergian began his professional career in graphic design, advertising and publications companies for over a decade before studying architecture in Milan first, and Delft later.
- As an architect worked for the Office for Metropolitan Architecture with Rem Koolhaas in Rotterdam during his thesis project. He work for UNStudio Ben van Berkel and from 2004 he worked for ZAHA HADID in London and soon he started a Zaha Hadid office in Beijing before co-founding Aquilialberg Architects in Milan in 2006. From 2017 they moved to Lugano keeping also an office in Milan.
